Good Afternoon Hockey Parents,

Please see the following letter for this year's 24-25 information letter.

  1. Fundraising Fee:

    • A fundraising fee is in place to maintain consistency with previous years' costs (excluding increases in ice costs, Hockey Alberta fees, late fees, and equipment replacements).

    • Parents have two options: either sell the tickets provided to recoup their money or sign all the tickets and keep the money. Regardless of the choice, all parents are responsible for the return of all their tickets assigned to them.

  1. Non-Refundable Fees:

    • Fees for 3 on 3 sessions and tryouts are non-refundable for every child participating. This policy applies regardless of whether or not there are enough participants to have tryouts and whether there are enough participants to hold 3 on 3. A note to AA parents: unless you know your tryout schedule, please hold off on registering for this. Again, a non-refundable fee applies. Deadlines will be posted for both.

  1. Respect in Sport Requirement:

    • Completion of the Respect in Sport course is mandatory. Failure to complete this requirement will prevent registration or participation.

    • Parents can check the Respect in Sport (RIS) expiry date by logging into My Spordle Account (link below) and locating the ‘members’ button on the left-hand side of the page. Choose your child’s name, click ‘view profile,’ and then choose ‘qualifications.’ There, you can view your RIS expiry date.

    • My Spordle Account

    • RIS

  1. Registration Compliance:

    • Failure to complete the active RIS and pay mandatory fundraising fees will prevent your child from being allowed on the ice.

  1. Communication:

    • RMHA has a strict attendance policy (for the past several years). This year, we are enforcing our policy with this. Attendance letters have been emailed and mailed to parents so they know about this year's registration process. These players have been blocked and will go right to a waiting list.

    • If you choose to register with RMHA, we require both parents and player to sign a strict attendance contract before participating in any on-ice activities. This contract is crucial to maintaining a competitive environment and will be strictly enforced.

These points outline the expectations and necessary steps for parents and players to successfully register and participate in hockey activities for the upcoming 2024 - 2025 season.
